In October of 1986 in Granger, Iowa, a small, vacant, turn-of-the-century house burned to the ground. Locally known as the Holly House, it was said to be haunted and follow a gruesome history. It was frequented by generations of thrill-seekers in their youth, and its legend grew over time. The fire was deemed an act of vandalism. In April of 2007, PCIU, a private paranormal research outfit, began investigating the site based on its rumored past. Buried underneath the cellar stairs they found a small collection of audiotape reels - some destroyed, but some only slightly damaged. High Noon Records was contacted to inquire about restoring the tapes and deciphering their content. Audio from these tapes is included in this release.
