Over a decade ago a battered old bus affectionately christened Priscilla; Queen of the Desert drove out of Sydney to become the star of one of the most internationally successful Australian movies of all time. Priscilla is now transformed into a -million fully staged musical with over 500 costumes, a company of 129 and 27 fabulous disco hits, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Musical. The stage musical has just finished a successful Sydney season at the Lyric Theatre, since its opening on October 7 2006, 500,000 people have attended the spectacular show. Now, Priscilla is opening in Melbourne on October 6 to begin what will certainly be another successful season.
